N-Ethylhexedrone (commonly known as Hexen or NEH) is a novel synthetic stimulant of the substituted cathinone class that produces typical stimulant effects such as stimulation, thought acceleration, physical and cognitive euphoria and appetite suppression when administered. Its effects are believed to be caused by its activity as an NDRI (norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor), although this has yet to be scientifically validated.
